1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Justo (hereinafter "the application" or "the service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use the service.

Justo is an open-source labor assistant that provides informational estimates based on deterministic rules and versioned legal corpus. It does not constitute professional legal or accounting advice.

2. Service Description

Justo provides labor calculation tools for multiple Central American jurisdictions, starting with Nicaragua. Features include:

  • Severance calculation
  • Vacation accrual and pending days calculation
  • Net salary estimation after deductions
  • Conversational assistance via language model

All calculations are performed using deterministic rules based on the versioned legal corpus. The language model only assists with data capture and result explanation, never with executing calculations.

3. Open Source

Justo's source code is publicly available under an open-source license. You may review, modify, and distribute the code in accordance with the applicable license terms.

However, the use of the "Justo" name and its associated trademarks is subject to the license restrictions.

4. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Justo does not warrant that:

  • Calculations are accurate, complete, or up to date
  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Results will meet specific user requirements

In no event shall Justo or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

5. No Professional Relationship

Use of Justo does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, or any other professional relationship. For legal or accounting advice tailored to your specific situation, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property
